Grand Fiesta Summer Bazaar
Mrs. Tintin Bersola-Babao’s Grand Fiesta Summer Bazaar is a good idea to raise fund to help the kids from bantay bata foundation. The bazaar happened at World Trade Center in Pasay City. The event has an Hourly Celebrity Auction for the things that people in the show business donated to raise funds. Some of them are gowns used in different shows, bags of well know personalities, and even an Men’s suit of our Vice President was also there. Some of the auctioned things were sold for less than a thousand pesos, and mind you guys those things were in good condition. I myself even joined the auction of a bag, but unfortunately someone got it in a higher price. While the auction is on break people can listen to speakers giving seminars on different product, first aid management on common household emergencies, positive life outlook, and other stuff that people would love to hear.
Aside of the Auction there are also stall of celebrities where they sell their stuffs. Tin-tin and Julius also have their booth which showcases some t-shirts with caption “Do a good deed today”, well I bet with this bazaar they really do a good deed not only on that day! There are also different varieties of stall inside where they sell shoes, dog gadgets, bags, cds, fabric softeners, rags, woven basket and other stuffs that a bazaar fanatic will surely love. GSIS, SSS, Philippine National Red Cross and other public service booth are also there to be accessible to people who are in need of their service.
In addition to that they also organized something for the kids to get involved in while their parents were roaming around to buy something. There was wall climbing supervised by highly trained personnel to ensure the safety of the kids, they also have a play time with Galileo and Anchor while watching cartoons will keep them busy at the Red Cross Booth and other booths that kids will surely enjoy.
This bazaar is a success because of Ms. Tintin’s golden heart and dedication on helping the people especially the kids on bantay bata foundation. With that idea this event rocks not only to people who loves shopping but also to people who want to help other people with their little acts of kindness!!!
