Pacquiao Live Experience!
Watching Pacquiao-Hatton fight live is unexpected for me… I was not really into watching it live, it’s ok with me to watch it in the internet for a live streaming or even on a delayed telecast on tv… But suddenly the day before the fight my brother asked me to buy a ticket on a mall near us to watch it live… So when I was there, expecting no more tickets available, I was surprise that they open another cinema just to accommodate the people… Happily telling my brother about that he asked me to buy 3 tickets… And unexpectedly the three tickets was for me, himself and LJDIAZ… Knowing him as “Kuripot” I was surprised and doubtful because he might just play a trick on me… Unfortunately LJDiaz won’t be available on the said date to monitor his blog to feature the live streaming… So it was only me and my brother who will gonna watch the fight.. I was happy and excited because that was the first time my brother asked me to watch a fight with him…. On the fight day… I was still sleeping tight enjoying my dream, when suddenly my brother knocked on my door and asking me to dress up because we will be late.. Smiling at the back of my mind, I saw how excited he is so I hurriedly fix myself because as we all know guys can move as a flash when fixing themselves and they hate waiting… When we get there, we forgot to buy something to eat because the food chains inside the mall are still close… So we get in the theater and watched the first fight…
Knowing nothing on how live telecast goes I just sat down and watch the fight… I felt I’m one of the boys since most of them are guys… At first the camera was just focused on the whole ring without any angle on the fight, and it was so dull because there was no commentator on the fight… A little bit disappointed on how it goes, I went out to buy some food since we haven’t ate our breakfast… when I came back, the fight setup was different it was somehow the same with what is played on the tv. With that I felt contented to watch the fight… As Pacquiao’s fight is getting near I got nervous… I don’t why.. At first I thought I was experiencing palpitation because of the coffee that I’m drinking but I figured it out as not because of the coffee it’s all about the upcoming fight… Odd to hear but I don’t know why I felt that way… hehehehe… And the big fight came… Everybody was silent and watching attentively to the show… When Hatton came out of his Dug-out everyone was silent and as if waiting for something to happen…As the Lupang Hinirang was sung by Martin Nievera everyone stood up and sang our national anthem… Then Pacauiao went out and everyone is screaming and clapped their hands… I suddenly felt goose bumps on my arm… As the first round goes everyone was screaming and shouting when Pacquiao hits Hatton hard… Then everyone stood up when Hatton hit the ground the first time… Screaming on my seat I was just so surprise on what happened and didn’t manage to stand up… When he hit the ground again on the second time…. I really stood up and cheered Pacquiao at the top of my voice as if he can hear me.. hehehehe… I was so overwhelmed with the excitement of the people and joined them as well… When the second round started everyone is still screaming and when Hatton received Pacquiao’s left hook and collapse I jumped out of my seat and scream… Everyone in the theater was screaming and shaking their hands as if they were the one who won… As my overwhelming feeling subsides and saw Hatton’s eye and I got scared that he might got a serious injury…. I didn’t expect that the match will end before the 2nd Round ends because I knew that both of them where the top boxers nowadays that’s why I was expecting a long bloody fight… Pacquiao just showed how great fighter he is… Even if he is the pound for pound champion he doesn’t took this fight for granted and focused on his training to be fit in this fight… And now Pacquiao is tagged as the best boxer in the world and Coach Roach as the best trainer in the World.
